Our Purification

Why do we need advanced technology to clean our water?

Water is the universal solvent – even a diamond will dissolve in water over time.

Traces of every product that has ever been made ends up in our water supply. In essence, we potentially drink everything that has been produced.

FreshPure® Waters removes up to 99.9% of potential contaminants, leaving fresh, pure, great-tasting water.

Our Purification Process

Local Water Transformed

The EPA tests for roughly 200 of the nearly 100,000 chemicals registered in the United States, with approximately 700 new chemicals added every single year.

That’s why we knew we needed technology that removed more.

Reverse Osmosis is that technology. Our high quality, commercial Reverse Osmosis purification system is powerful enough to desalinate seawater, and filters out potential contaminants down to 1/10,000th of a micron. It’s so effective that we use it as the foundation for both Deionized and Alkaline Waters.

Imagine water purified to the most refined level, free of contaminants down to 1/10,000th of a micron.  This is the FreshPure® promise.

The Safe Drinking Water Act

& Contaminants of Emerging Concern

The EPAs Safe Drinking Water Act:

  • Maximum Contaminant Levels (MCLs) for 90+ contaminants
  • Non-enforceable Guidelines for approximately 15 additional contaminants
  • Non-enforceable Health Advisories for approximately 200 more contaminants

Sometimes, Guidelines and Health Advisories become regulated MCLs.

However, it can take many years to discover, observe, and study the health effects of a contaminant of emerging concern.

All of these steps come before a chemical or substance becomes a regulated contaminant.

One of the most important reasons to drink FreshPure® Waters is that Reverse Osmosis technology, coupled with our specialized activated carbon filters and ultraviolet disinfection, has the capability to remove up to 99.9% of potential contaminants, including those that have not yet been identified.

Our FreshPure® Waters filtration systems

Our FreshPure® Waters filtration systems are designed to remove up to tens of thousands of potentially harmful compounds including:

  • Heavy Metals
  • Fluoride
  • Chlorine
  • Bacteria & Viruses
  • Pharmaceuticals
  • Radiologicals
  • Volatiles
  • Gasoline Derivatives
  • Excess Minerals
  • Pesticides
  • Disinfectants
  • Industrial Byproducts
  • Agricultural Byproducts
  • Nanoplastics & Microplastics
  • Emerging Contaminants such as GenX

Our Purification Process

Reverse Osmosis

Step 1

Sediment Pre-Filter

EPA approved Municipal Water passes through a Sediment Pre-Filter.

Step 2

Blended Activated Coconut Carbon Filtration

To remove volatile organic compounds which include chlorine, chloramines, pesticides, herbicides, and solvents.

FreshPure® Waters processing system contains 10x the carbon of a typical filtration unit.

Step 3

Reverse Osmosis

Water is forced at high pressure through RO membrane, which has exceptionally tiny pores, filtering down to 1/10,000th of a micron.

Step 4

Carbon Post Filtration

Carbon Post Filtration further enhances the taste of FreshPure® Waters.

Step 5

Ultraviolet Light Sterilization

UV Light is used as the final step for its powerful sterilization capabilities.

Step 2

Blended Activated Coconut Carbon Filtration

FreshPure® Waters processing system contains 10x the amount of carbon of the typical filtration unit.

Step 3

Reverse Osmosis

Water is forced at high pressure through RO membrane, which has exceptionally tiny pores, filtering down to 1/10,000th of a micron.

Step 4

Deionization

Deionization media further “polishes” the FreshPure® Waters RO water by removing the 1-2% of trace minerals that may remain.

Comparable to distilled water in many ways, DI can exceed distilled bottled water in purity.

Step 5

Carbon Post Filtration

Carbon Post Filtration further enhances the FreshPure® taste you love.
